sand and sun

I went to the beach this weekend. I liked sitting and playing in the sand, but not so much walking in the sand or water. I much prefer the pool, just like my Mommy. Here are some pictures form this weekend.

uh-oh

Alexa says many sounds, including da-da, ma-ma, and uh-oh. She also can wave and clap. We have been working on the meaning of these things because words without meaning are simply sounds. So, today she was drinking water from her sippy cup and dropped it and said, "uh-oh!" YAY!!! I'm so proud of her. She's also starting to get the clapping down. She will do something like press a button on her toy and then clap for herself! We are still working on when we wave, but she's starting to get it! It's going to be a fun summer!

my great-grandparents came to visit!!

We had so much fun together! We played, did a lot of talking, went to dinner, and they ordered me my own ice cream! I LOVED it! They even brought me a pretty flower umbrella from my favorite store, COACH. Thanks for coming to visit! We love you very much and can't wait to see you again soon!

Do you see how tall I am?? 30 inches! That's the 99th%! Dr. says I look great and I'm right on schedule!

grandpa came to visit!

I had a great weekend with my Grandpa! He brought me a new toy that I love very much! It's a firetruck! I like to push it around! I also like to press all the buttons that make fun noises. I am very proud of myself when I do it! We had so much fun! Thanks for visiting!
