My Little Artist

Alexa LOVES to do just about any kind of art. She gets that from her Mimi. Okay and a little from her Mama. We might put it this way, Mimi has a talent for any kind of art--photography, painting, crafting, even some sewing! Mama doesn't have so much a talent as a like for it! When I was little, I was usually found doing one of three things. 1. Playing teacher. 2. Playing Mommy. 3. Beading, braiding, or puffy-painting just about anything! Mimi has a firm belief about art. It has no limits (ie: we shouldn’t be limited to the lines of a coloring book- coloring books were a no-no in our house… safe to say Lex only has one, and prefers not to use it!). We had a craft closet stocked with crayons, markers, beads, string, paint pens, all kinds of stuff! And it was heaven to me. Here are some art projects my precious baby big girl did over the past year! Plus some pictures of her art supplies from Mama playing with her new camera (I just found this unpublished post from months ago when my camera was new!)

Miami in Pictures

We spent a relaxing three weeks in Miami with our families and it was amazing! Here are only a few favorite pictures from the trip!

I want to put 5,000 more pictures up, but this has taken me two months to update (I’m on summer vacation, but somehow I’m still soooo busy)! Hope summer’s been treating you as it has us, with sunshine, swimming, lots of time as a family, and lots of precious memories!
