easter sunday

Easter morning we had a lot of relaxing time having gone to the Saturday afternoon church service. Alexa made breakfast with Abuela! Check out the hair-do! So funny!

Then the kids went outside to see what the Easter Bunny had left them!




After lunch and nap time we invited our neighbor over for a splash in the kiddie pool! The girls had a blast and let out some energy before Easter dinner.


It was a happy day for many reasons, but we didn't forget the most important one.

Mark 16:6 "And he said to them, 'Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazerene, who has been crucified. He is risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him.'"

baby lucas' one month

Yes, it was over a week ago, but... here are some stats and pictures from his one month appointment.

Weight: 11.8 pounds (82.5%!!)

Height: 23 inches (82%)

We've got ourselves a big boy! And he sure is handsome and cuddly and happy and all the things a baby boy should be!

Some things he is up to:

-cooing occasionally

-smiled a very few times!

-stays on schedule pretty well, including waking up about once a night (not too bad!)

-loving cuddles (Mommy loves this because Lex was never really a cuddler, anyone who spends a lot of time with her now knows she's still not!)

...and the best news of all -his hearing test came back completely normal! A big releif for us all, and thank all of you who prayed day after day for our baby's results. God has proven himself time and time again in Lucas' life and one day I hope that to be a testament to him about how much his maker loves him!
