Rock-a-Bye Baby

This little girl...



slept for 7 1/2 hours last night. That means one happy Mommy and Daddy.

8 Weeks Old

I cannot believe Alexa is already 8 weeks old! She is such a joy and I have never been happier. Having her around has already enriched our lives beyond belief! Here are 8 things I love about our little angel.



1. She looks like her Daddy, especially her eyes.
2. She loves to cuddle.
3. When Brian talks to her she bats her eyes at him- such a little flirt!
4. When we go to get her in the morning, she is all smiles and likes to talk to us, it is too cute!
5. She is a great baby! She does cry, but only because she's hungry or wants to be moved.
6. She takes a long nap in the morning and Mommy can get work done!
7. She loves to take walks. When she can stay awake, she observes everything and smiles and coos.
8. She loves night-time. She cries to let us know she's tired and wants to go to bed. As soon as we start walking up stairs she knows it's bedtime and quiets down. She loves the bath and gets mad when we take her out. When we read to her, she looks at the pictures-- I can't wait until we can have conversations about the books! Ok, there's the teacher coming out in me!

This is one sneaky little squirrel! Sometimes, her feet are under the mobile! We're trying to figure out how she does it!
