we've been busy...

my big boy :)

Lucas had his two month appointment today. Shots and all :(. Here are his stats.

Weight: 13 pounds 5 ounces (90%)

That's a big boy.

Good news is, he's 24.5 inches, which is 93%.

So, he's at least proportionate!

There is nothing that gives me more joy in the world than my two beautiful children. How can you not love these faces?!

I love them both more than words can say. They each amaze me every day in different ways. They have brought fulfillment to my life like nothing else could. With that being said, I also know my worth does not lie in my precious children. It lies in the strong hands of my Savior. My job as Alexa and Lucas' mommy is to guide them to that same realization. If I can do that, I will consider myself a good mom! So, thanks Mom, Grandma C., and Grandma T. for guiding me there. And thank you Felicia, Fela, and Ondi for guiding my wonderful husband there. And for your support, and for loving our children unconditionally, and for loving us daily, and for putting up with us when we were kids, and I could go on forever.

We couldn't ask for better moms! Happy Mother's Day! We love you!
